here's an update!

The kitchen has had the most improvement so far. Wallpaper removal, texturing, painting, and removing linoleum is complete. All we have left in this phase is to sand, prime, and paint cabinets, and install tile! Later on down the road we'll upgrade all the appliances to stainless and install new countertops and backsplash!

Kasey's grandmother and I takcled the back yard yesterday. For FOUR hours we worked in the back pulling weeds only to discover tons of pea gravel in one corner of our back yard. There is a picture of just one of the piles we made below.

On the other side of the yard we pulled weeds mixed with ivy and leaves! There were many time that I wanted to go inside and sit, but Ingrid kept on going!

Ramdomly, I found all these bricks and pavers throughout the yard!

Thursday night we had our bathroom and kitchen preped for Jay to texture the walls.

Friday night we got all of the texturing done. We set up many fans to get it to dry by Saturday morning.

On Saturday we had our amazing team of family help paint the WHOLE house! We had mom, Loren, matt, vik, john, ingrid, and Jay. Thanks to everyones help we have finished painting the house! I once agian left our camera at the house so I will post the pictures tommorow.

Today we touched up some areas of paint and finished many odds and ends. Kasey and John spent the whole day getting the linoleum off the floor (yikes) so that we can lay tile next weekend. We could really see the fruits of our labor coming together this weekend!
